Photography Corporate

Corporate photography demands high levels of professionalism to bring out the best in a person. A winning corporate portrait can be achieved with the required adjustments to make the subject stand out from the surrounding.
Here are a few insights on how to get the desirable results in corporate photography.

Hyper Realistic Sculptures

Hyper Realistic Sculptures
Art is art and reality is reality. While art is often meant to depict reality, there is a broad line between the two and artistic impressions can at best imitate reality but never replace it. However, once in a while you may come across something that looks so real that you would snicker if someone said it's actually a sculpture! You doubt your eyes, question that your brain is playing tricks and have to actually touch it to believe it. And yet the incredulity refuses to go away. This is what is known as hyper realistic art - it is characterized by ultra reality and actually blurs the line between art and reality. The level of precision and detail is such that the subject looks like a real and living object and has to be seen to be believed. The likeness to human figures is genuinely captivating. For instance, a casual person who chances upon Ron Mueck's sculpture of 'Two Women' can easily mistake it for two actual aged ladies standing together!

TV Versus Movies

Thursday, April 30, 2015

I'm a movie guy from way back and I even remember waiting in long, long lines for some movie greats that are now considered classics like Star Wars (1977) and the first Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (2001). When these movies were released there was absolutely nothing on TV that could compare to them. Their jaw-dropping graphics were ground-breaking, it was like you were being transported to a new and different world. The Avatar movie followed (2009) and it again had the ability to put me on another planet flying through the air on a bird-like creature through an alien jungle, it was amazing.

3D Art Design

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Have you ever tried to explain to someone the concepts behind 3D design and simulation? Well I have and nine times out of ten it's met either with confusion or that look you get of utter bemusement. Then you spend the next couple of hours trying to justify your passion and interest secretly knowing the person you are talking to is counting sheep in their head. "3D models represent a 3D object using a collection of points in 3D space, connected by various geometric entities such as triangles, lines, curved surfaces, etc." This is a definition taken from Wikipedia and to be honest with descriptions like this chaptering a search on Google, I'm not surprised there is an element of confusion in the industry.
